7000 MILES: inaugural flight and World Premiere at the Dances With Films 2023

7000 Miles, a new feature film from director Amy Glazer (The Surrogate, Kepler’s Dream) will make its inaugural flight and World Premiere at the most defiantly independent film festival, Dances With Films, on Saturday, June 24th, 2023. The film lands a coveted Saturday night flight time and is scheduled for departure at 6:30 PM featuring an exciting manifest of talent and crew. Dances With Films runs from June 22 to July 2 at the TCL Chinese Theaters in Hollywood, CA.

7000 Miles is about a passionate young female pilot, Jo, (Alixzandra Dove) who is challenged by her grandmother, Meli, (Wendie Malick) to live her life on her own terms. When Jo’s grandfather suddenly passes, Jo returns to Hawaii from the mainland to support her grandmother, the woman who raised her. While there, she finds herself at a crossroads as she discovers Meli’s possible true identity as the world’s most-famous, missing aviatrix and grapples with the consequences of revealing the long-buried secret to further her own career or to allow the story of the crash to remain a mystery forever.
