| STORIES FOR MY CHILDREN’S CHILDREN is an incredibly poignant and deeply personal series of recollections passionately told by Sarah Rolnick, the daughter of two Holocaust survivors, about her parents’ experiences during the Holocaust. Sarah carries with her stories of hope—her mother’s family hid in a barn for two years after the Nazis took over Poland thanks to farm owners who were willing to take the risk—and unimaginable hardship—her father’s first wife and children were shot and killed when he was sent to a concentration camp. The film is impactful, profoundly human, and filled with invaluable life lessons that will resonate with viewers, encouraging them to look inward and reflect on their perspectives of their own lives and challenges.WHEN:Thursday, September 21 at 10:30AM PDTWHERE:President’s Theatre at The Long Beach Scottish Rite Cultural Centre, 855 Elm Ave, Long Beach, CA 90813WHO:In attendance: subject Sarah Rolnick and her husband Allen Rolnick, executive producer Daniel Rolnick, and director/producer Christopher Wells.Christopher Wells has over two decades of experience as a filmmaker, with a particular interest in documentaries that celebrate the histories of families and communities.
