SYNOPSIS – GRAZIE MICHELE

Michele is a boy with down syndrome who loves to live life cheerfully and carefree, always smiling in the face of fate. With his inseparable friend Adriano, paraplegic teenager, always sad because of his handicap. In a world where the “disabled” do not feel included, Michele will demonstrate that with a smile and altruism you can give so much to others and like a young Cyrano de Bergerac, he will try to transform the sadness of his friend Adriano into joy and love For the life. Finally, Michele’s joy and positivity slowly manages to transform Adriano’s life. The two enjoy spending the day between jokes and jokes, leaving traces of their every passage in any corner of the country. Adriano secretly in love with the beautiful Loredana, accompanied by his friend Michele, all occasions are good to see her or spend time with her. Incursions along the main street aboard an Ape driven by Michele cause amusing gags and romantic scenes, such as the almost sanctified vision of the teenager they are in love with. The barbershop, the town’s meeting place for the citizens, has an overly goliardic exchange of jokes, such as to drive Michele’s father, marshal of the army, who constantly complains about his son’s too much vivacity, “going mad”. It will be Adriano’s mother who will open the marshal’s eyes, revealing the importance of the figure of Michele, a source of joy and positivity and a symbol of equality between people.

DIRECTOR ROSARIO ERRICO

Thinking of the Masters: Fellini, Pasolini, Tornatore, Pupi Avati, we believe that in our film there is not only the same poetic, simple, dreamy, real and exciting dramaturgy that we have in common, but we also have artists and technicians who have collaborated with the aforementioned Masters giving audiences and critics the same emotions and professionalism“.
